I used the version of CakePHP... works great on PC and MAC :D

Any solutions other than using CakePHP?

Anyone maybe break out the CakePHP ZipArchive class for standalone use or something? So sad :(

I had the same problem. A lot of the Zip classes seem to have trouble unzipping on Mac.

For a solution and working zip class check out this blog:

Tested on Mac + Windows, works a treat.
